We offer guarantee according to the following terms (No. 1-6) and we repair defects of the tool free of charge, which have been caused by material faults or production errors, within the guarantee period.

1. The warranty period for Power Tools is 12-months. High-pressure washers and Dremel have a 6-month warranty. Warranty period starts with the purchase by the first end user. The date of the original invoice/till receipt is decisive.
2. Excluded from this guarantee are:

• Parts, which are subject to operational wear or to wear due to other normal consumption as well as defects of the tool that result from wear, or from wear due to other normal consumption e.g. carbon brushes.
• Defects of the tool, which are attributed to ignorance of operating instructions, to applications not in accordance with the intended use, to abnormal environmental factors, to extraneous operating conditions, to overloading or to improperly performed maintenance or cleaning.
• Defects of the tools, which are caused by use of accessories or spare parts, which are not Bosch original parts.
• Tools which have been modified or which have been provided with non-Bosch supplements.
• Minor variances of the quality, which are insignificant concerning the value or the suitability of the tool.
• All tools with power cords cut will have warranty voided immediately.

3. In the event of a defect covered by this guarantee, we will remove this defect free of charge by measures of our choice: either the defective tool will be repaired or exchanged against a new (possibly later) model. Exchanged tools or parts will become property of Bosch.

4. The guarantee claim has to be asserted during the guarantee period. For this the tool in question together with the original invoice/till receipt (stating the date and the tool model) should be sent to seller or to one of the Bosch authorised service centres/dealers. Partially or completely dismantled tools are not covered by this guarantee. The buyer bears the cost and risk of transport to and from the service centre or dealer.

5. Other claims, other than the right of repair of the defective tool as mentioned in these guarantee conditions cannot be justified by our guarantee.

6. The guarantee period of the tool will be neither be extended nor renewed by means of our guarantee services.
